I’m feeling awfully popular… more than 500 fellow bloggers follow me on WordPress and there are other people who visit via Bloglovin’ or as a result of e-mail or Facebook notifications. I know that there are many bloggers with lots more followers and I know that not all my followers are active (or even visit), but there are still a lot of you who read, like and comment on posts. So many, in fact, that I’m getting a little overwhelmed. In the past I have tried (not always successfully) to respond to every comment, but it’s rather difficult at the moment. So this is just a note to say that if you don’t get a response, please don’t take it personally. If you have a question that you need an answer to, drop me a line via e-mail (address on the ‘About’ page – written out to minimise spam/phishing). I will continue to post responses… I love the dialogue… but forgive me if you miss out.
Thank you for your understanding, it means I can get on with more of this…

/ January 11, 2015I KNOW!! The fact that we have time to do other things apart from reading, writing, commenting and responding on our own and other blogs is sometimes miraculous to me! And I only have 350 followers and most of them never visit. 🙂 Imagine what would happen if they did! I am reading less and commenting less [though not here obviously – this is just because I so understand where you are coming from….] yet still find the need to get up very early to fit it all in.
No response required 🙂

/ January 11, 2015It’s tricky when you want to chat with everyone, especially the regulars. Sigh. I love the photos on this post, by the way. All that home-grown deliciousness and home-made colour. Enjoy. (And I won’t be mortally offended if you don’t reply to this message.)

/ January 11, 2015I do know how you feel. I like to respond to everything but it means I’m stuck in here more than I should be. So, now I have had to learn to like and read on some but not necessarily comment. I always hope to be forgiven too so I’ll understand if there’s no response. As long as you know I popped in.

/ January 11, 2015Sometimes, a companionable listening silence is just fine. We know you’re there, that you’ve read our comment and know we love you, and that’s enough. Now, go forth and create something!

/ January 11, 2015Gosh, it is my aim to increase my followers, but I do so like to write considered and appropriate responses and comments to show that I am appreciative of the effort others invest in both their posts and their messages. But even with the few followers I have it is a huge committment.
I think in order to help you and myself too, I am going to have to just click ‘like’ more often.
This way, you will know that I am still supporting you….and you will be saved from writing a response.
Ah….a plan! Take care and happy cheese making ( and all the other lovely things you do)

/ January 12, 2015It must be hard to strike a balance when you are so busy and enjoying life. You very graciously let us have a glimpse of what you are doing and I look forward to reading all about it, especially as a townie who works full time and struggles to fit in all the things I want to do. I love reading all your blogs and like wscottling don’t always comment as I have nothing to add so I just click “like” perhaps we need a “read” button so that you know we have taken the trouble to read what you have posted as it’s easy to click like for a photo but doesn’t perhaps register interest in the content. Love all the crafting photos today especially the bags. Anne xx

/ January 12, 2015I follow the blog of a little dog who says “I always read but I don’t always bark!” It is OK if you don’t get time to bark back! No pressure or offense. 😀

/ January 14, 2015I should’ve bought the photo up larger, with my poor eyesight I thought they were little bee houses, now when I think of it though I have seen these before. I could never make one but so cute, I might have to check these out 🙂
