Well, if you do, my pattern is finally available.
After much pondering, I decided to sell it via etsy, who are all set up for digital downloads. EDIT January 2023: Huge fee increases on etsy over the years mean that I’ve moved sales over to Ravelry, from where you can purchase digital patterns.
The pattern includes two styles of roost – a house and a pouch – and two options for material – twine and wool – the latter is worked up and then felted to make a snug shelter.

Born To Organize
/ January 9, 2017Charming! I have a few questions after popping over to your Etsy shop. I have remedial crochet skills. I can crochet a chain. Mom taught us how to knit, but I’ve never accomplished more than a blanket with a simple pattern. I would love to make one of these. Since the project is small, do you think this could be a starting project for a novice like me or is it far more advanced?

/ January 9, 2017You need to be able to chain and do a slip stitch, a double crochet and a treble crochet (I use UK terms, so that’s US single crochet and double crochet). It doesn’t have any complicated stitches to master, but there is a little shaping. It’s not the first project I’d suggest to a complete beginner, but it might be the second!

/ January 10, 2017Thank you for all the details. I’ll ponder this, while searching my local craft shop for some practice yarn and a starter project. I’m kind of excited.
