Amigurumi Critters

Only two places left

Thursday 25 May, 10.30am–2.30pm

Amigurumi is the art of crocheting small stuffed creatures. For this class you need to be able to crochet already – specifically, you must know how to do double crochet stitches (UK terminology) or single crochet (US terminology). Rachelle will cover all the basics, so that you can follow a pattern and create your own little critters. The course fee includes everything you need to get started – yarn, a KnitPro crochet hook, stitch marker, stuffing, safety eyes, yarn snips and a needle, all in your own project bag to take home.

Learn to love (use) your sewing machine

Thursday 8 June, 10.30am–2.30pm (to be confirmed)

Do you struggle with your sewing machine? Do you feel that you don’t get the most out of it? In this class, you will get a chance to get to know each other…
Bring your (working) sewing machine along with you and Rachelle will help you discover what it can do, From threading it, to getting the tension right, to discovering what it’s capable of. We’ll start off by PAT testing it to make sure that it’s safe and then you’ll be able to start exploring what it can do.
Advance booking is absolutely essential on this one and you need to let us know in advance the make and model of your machine as well as whether you have a manual for it. Don’t have a sewing machine? We have a couple available that you can use during the day.

£45 per person
